Our 2010 version of the BHS Winter guard performed well all season! We had 2 of our Leaders from marching season qualify for "Phoenix", an independent group. It is nice to have a few of our crew spread their wings and make a more advanced guard even though we are missing them. Good job ladies!
The guard started the season winning most of the competitions that they were in. At STATE they were in 3rd place after their preliminary performance by the slightest of margins. It was anyone's trophy at that point. The guard ended up taking 3rd which, when considering how many new members they had, was outstanding. Even so, they were OH SO CLOSE to taking STATE again! We look forward to see what the GUARD has in store for the Summer and Fall Marching Season.
